Greetings in Jesus Precious Name!
Thinking more on the subject of reformation and the cost of it.
It has always been that the former move of God will persecute the next move of God.
Why?? Because we can so easily move into becoming the status quo and hold sacred that position. Actually daring anything to challenge it.
I was a young teenage girl in the 1960's and remember well the assassination of President Kennedy. Soon to follow was Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy as well as several others who were called to bring Reform.
When God purposes to bring Reform he will bring revelation to those who are called to initiate it. But it will be challenged and not everyone will embrace it.
John the Baptist as well Jesus preached reformation. The first century Church preached and taught that same meassage and most of them were martyred.
There was sacrifice, persecution and blood shed to bring forth the designed change that reformation was to bring.
When Jesus taught the parable of the wineskins. He said that new wine (revelation ) could not be put into old bottles. Because the old bottle will burst and both the bottle and the wine will be lost.
Oft times many get frustrated with those who cannot connect or embrace their vision. I want to encourage you to stop! If they don't get it leave to God to deal with.
God loves them right where they are at.
Just like the old bottle that would burst Jesus does not want that to happen.
We may not even understand what the change will look like when completed but we must keep moving forward and preserve with it.
We must understand that there is sacrifice and cost if you are a vessel chosen to bring the reform. As much as you may feel the adversity you cannot return back. The vision you have been given is stronger than the sacrifices that go with it even at the cost of loss and death.
It is my desire that this post will help you to understand and not get discouraged or frustrated if you see that the majority just don't get what you do..
Others who were called to bring Reform experienced the same. Change does not come easily but if God has purposed it the reformation will come into completion !
God bless you!
Sandra
