The Power of Words:

Greetings to all,
As I sit here this evening I'm thinking of the power that words hold.
The scripture says that life and death can be produced through the power that the tongue has been given.

Though the tongue be a small member of the body the scripture says that it can boast great things.

Words are released through the function of speaking but it is also released through the function of writing.
It grieves me when some one releases written words that tear down and wound another that Christ bled and died for and it's even worse when it is those who are in
the household of faith.

Religious spirits are ugly and often manifest in anger and violence. Also
Religious spirits are comfortable in a religious setting or atmosphere. So they will try to infiltrate communites for the purpose of sowing discord and divisiveness.

The more biblical knowledge we obtain the more susceptible we can be to the influences of religious spirits.

The scripture is very clear that we do not wrestle with flesh and blood. But
we do know however that there are some people who become agents and even ambassadors of the wicked one, that is why the scripture tells us to not believe every spirt but rather try or test the spirits.

Even when a hard or challenging word must be said it will and should come through the owners or moderators of the Community. Because they have been given leqal God given authority over that particular sphere.

I pray often for the media to report and communicate righteously with righteous motivation.
But the Ambassadors of Christ who are sent forth into this Mountain called Media should always set a standard of Righteousness.  Because the Kingdom they are representing is: Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost.

I pray for the Christians who operate in this mountain called social media that we would ask the Lord to expose and reveal the motivation behind the words that we write.
May the Lord help us to quickly separate the demonic from the lost, misguided or deceived soul.
Those who have apostolically been called to create a community are also anointed by God to teach, pastor and protect that said community. God will send and assign prophetic and evangelistic people as well to help with the spirtual oversight.
These divine connections absolutely wow me! Only God can connect in such a way!
I want to close with this prayer as we launch forth the net out into the deep and harvest the lost souls that are waiting to be found!

A Prayer:
I pray that the Ekklesia God's governing body in the earth will advance the Kingdom of God and release the life and love of God and saturate the earth with His glory. Lord may the many who are lost taste and see that the Lord is good and receive salvation through Jesus Christ the Savior of the world.

I pray that we as God's people walk in the Unity of the Spirit in the Bond of peace that God will command His blessing by souls being added to the Family of God from every tribe and in every nation.

Lord may those who are puffed up with knowledge and just want tell some one off be put to silence. And may their words and arrows not find nor hit their target in Jesus Name Amen.

Lord may the power of Your sword clarify and separate the wheat from the chaff within us. May we in humility and contrition allow your sword to cut away the things that would make us blind to the log in our own eye. May the Ekklesia set an atmosphere in their specific assigned territories and spheres of authority that is conducive to and sensitive to the Power and working of Holy Spirit!

I declare and release the judgment of the Blood of Jesus against every demonic spirit sent to hinder, pervert or abort your plan and purpose in this mountain called Media!

I ask all of this in Jesus Mighty Name Amen!

Stewards of our culture:

I recently heard Lance Wallnau make this statement and it resonated in my spirit!
As I write this blog I wander how serious the people of God are about being faithful stewards of our culture.
I would love to see every aspect of the culture in our nation not only be exposed to the reality of Christ but to honor Him and all that He represents. Our God is so...
awesome and is worthy of all glory and praise.
It begins with His people loving what He loves, saying what He says and doing what He does.
The Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ our King so desires for the Culture of His Kingdom to influence and impact the various  cultures that are found in every nation.  It requires boldness for us in the Christian community to move out of our comfort zone in our religious mountain and engage ourselves in the fields where the lost and hurting are at.
We are commissoned to go into highways and bi -ways or into the seemingly out of the way places and not only influence the culture but also impact it with the culture of the Kingdom of God.
However to become faithful stewards of our culture it will require tenacity, favor, courage, boldness, discernment and  WISDOM !  Wisdom!  Wisdom!

We cannot become a steward of our culture if we are removed from it. If we want to see a different world around us then we as God's people can't be removed from it.
Jesus said that we His people are the salt of the earth and the light of this world.
So who is exercising stewardship in the culture and environment around you?
Just look at the fruit in that place and you will know. Do you see righteousness celebrated, is peace there or is there confusion, division and chaos?
May we arise and go forth in the power of Jesus name and be faithful stewards and simply let God be who He is in it.

Sent Out To Take A Mountain:

As Christians we are called out of the world only to be sent back into the world.
A couple weeks ago God spoke to me the words that Caleb spoke to Joshua in  Joshua 14: 6- 12 "Give me this mountain for I am still strong enough to take it."

I have learned that if you have a passion to see something that is wrong to be made right and if you press in with prayer and prophetic intercession that you may also become the tool in which God uses to make it right.

What ever mountain or influence that you are drawn to is an indication that you are going to be sent there as an ambassador of Christ.

Lance Wallnau made a profound statement in one of his recent broadcasts: " If you have been given the capacity by God to go into a specific environment you won't become defiled by that environment. "

We are sent to cast the Devils that are occupying space in that environment with the burden removing, yoke destroying anointing that we carry as the Ambassador of Christ.
We must understand that we have been given a unique individual assignment and task to a specific place and to a specific people.

I'm begining to understand that some of us are not released into our mountain until we are past 60 years old.
But I encourage you just as I encourage myself in the Lord that God's grace will strengthen us to take that mountain even at the age of 80.  Whether that environment be in the arts and entertainment, education, business and technology or government and politics let us be courageous enough to move out of the religious church mountain camped by the river to become that spiritual ninja taking the mountain that God has given you a vision for!
The church spends to much time preaching to themselves.
It's like you get all of the tools to go fishing, you go to all of the seminars one about bass fishing another about trout.
You may even buy a boat and subscribe to countless fishing magazines but yet you never go fishing.

Those in the church spend a large part of their time preaching to the choir and prophesying to one another. I thinks it is time and past time for the top of the mountains to be taught of the Lord.

May we take Isaiah 2:2 and let it become a living reality in this physical realm.
May God use us to establish His Mountain or His Kingdom on the top of all of the Mountains that mold our culture!

God bless Lance Wallnau with sounding his trumpet with revelation of the 7 mountains!

Sent Ones: Are insulated in Christ but not Isolated from those of whom they are sent.

Those who are insulated in Christ has had to renew their minds with Circular Thinking. Many try to serve outside of the church walls with a linear mindset and it makes what we do more challenging than it should be.
Both Circular Thinking and Linear Thinking  is a product of what ever culture has influenced us.

Most people that are linear are motivated by goals and objectives. Much of their value and self worth is determined by what they do. What they perceive has been accomplished.
The culture of the Kingdom of God is realized in our BEING citizens of the Kingdom and what we do is based on the premise of who we are in Christ. This will move us to develop more of a Circular Thinking mind set.

Citizens of the Kingdom of God base their doing on their position of being in Christ.
Which means that what ever we do we are in His Rest as we do it.

Those who minister inside or outside of the church walls must be insulated and mantled with the Rest that allows God's Grace to work in us, for us and through us.
Circular Thinking will include every aspect of what we do as something that God has blessed us with to not only serve with but also to enjoy.
We must remember that it is the Father's will to give us the Kingdom and to enjoy the life that He has given us.
God wants us to invite and include His presence into the atmosphere of where we are at and in what ever we are doing.
Being spiritual does not mean being religious.
If you are sent to serve outside of the walls of the church you are not inclosed in the perceived safety of the tent of religion.  Therefore you must learn to be able to wear the garment of the mantle you have been clothed by God to serve with.
If you are called and sent by God to serve in the field of Business, Government, Education, Media or Arts and Entertainment then you must understand that the Religious Robe or Garment won't influence or impact the field you are sent into. I believe that by renewing our mind with Circular Thinking that encompasses God and His will and His presence all around us will help us to be a more effective witness in the field we are sent.

We must learn to dig deep within ourselves and keep the well spring of the River of Life open.  To abide in Christ simply means to be insulated in Christ.

Circular Thinking is built with the structure of Living by Faith. Circular Thinking understands that walking in the Spirit does not necessarily mean that you are doing religious things or behaving in a religious way.

There is a big difference in being religious and being spiritual.
The Pharisees. we're about as religious as you could get. Yet Jesus chose disciples that He sent forth as Apostles who came from every aspect of society that influenced the culture of the world they lived in.
Let us be insulated in Christ as we go out into the world and not isolate ourselves from those who are lost in the world.

Competition or Coalition:

The Word of God tell us that we are joint heirs with Christ. Although there are various operations, functions and diversities in ministry, we must never be in competition with one another.

Comparing your particular ministry with that of another will result in either one being exalted over another or being beneath another.

In the Kingdom it really does not matter who God is using to sow, plant or water but rather it is about God who gives the increase!

I truly believe that the Kingdom of God would advance and expand exponentially if there was more of a coalition and no competition!

The resources we have all been given would be leveraged if truly worked the Word of God that states we are One Body who serves One King (Jesus ) who are Laborers Together with Christ!

Without sounding negative or judgmental I am bothered by ministries and ministers who spend more time promoting themselves than they do the Cause of Christ.

I like many others are drawn to ministries who are called into the same function as I am but I realize the wonderful benefit of receiving and honoring those who have a very different calling or assignment as long as Jesus and His finished Work is what is being promoted!

Jesus said to beware of the leaven of Herod. Herod simply means hero. We must guard against hero worship of specific ministries. While we are instructed to honor those who labor among us and to give double honor to those who labor in the word and doctrine
We must never cross the line of idolatry!
If and when we all keep Jesus Christ as the True Super Star in our ministries we will automatically become that coalition that will be God's Army in the earth that invade the darkness with the glorious Light of the Kingdom of God! This is what is needed to open the prison doors and set the captives free!

Being Instant In and Out of Season:

The scripture tells us to be ready for anytime an opportunity is presented to us to share the Gospel of Christ.

We must be ready to be instant in season and out of season.
We must be ready but not anxious.
We must beware of trying to make something happen. It may frustrate the Grace of God that is needed in order to be an effective witness of Christ.
Our faith in God access God's Amazing Grace but it is while we are in Rest that God's grace is working.
To minister where ever we are at we will need Holy Spirit to be working through us and with us as He is working with the person or people we are ministering to.
It is just as important for us to be instant out as well as in season.
We must learn when not to speak as well as when to speak in order for our words to hold substance.
It is the Holy Spirit that draws people to Jesus. We must remember that it is Christ in us that is the HOPE OF GLORY!
So let us be ready but not anxious.

Reflections

Do you ever reflect on past seasons in your life journey?

Sometimes it seems like ages ago yet the reflection appears so vivid and real.
Reflecting can however also open us up with a very thankful heart.
We have the ability to see that God's hand was upon us during those seasons.
We must always remember that no matter what season we are in God's Amazing Grace is already there with.
We can get discouraged however when we try to sit and reason trying to recapture a glimpse of what was, while God is working something new in us or through us.
I encourage you to move forward placing your Faith in God and work with Holy Spirit in the process.

Memorial or Shrine??

As I look toward this Memorial Day weekend there are reflections and memories of others that come to mind.

All through scripture we find where God's people were instructed to erect a memorial. God wanted his people to mark or remember specific events and victories.
As we remember challenges that we faced, obstacles that we have overcome, battles that we have fought and victories we have won it helps to build our faith and propels us forward to finish strong in our life's journey!

But we must beware of erecting shrines.
Unlike a memorial that focuses on what the life of a person contributed a shrine focuses on the death of a person.

The purpose of a shrine is to keep one locked into the cycle of death.

At the very core of the good news of the gospel of Christ is the power of His Resurrection!

I encourage us all to remember what we have received from those who have passed on to the other side and be thankful for the contribution and investment that they made in our life.

It is my prayer that I too will live a life that is so poured out for others that none of the wealth and treasure that God invested  in me is buried with me but rather lives on in the lives of those of whom I was sent.
It is my prayer for us that after our passing the works that we have done will be a leagacy that will continue to speak as a lving stone giving glory to God.

What happens when our routine converges with God's plan

What happens when our routine converges with God's plan...

Do you ever get so caught up with your daily routine that you lose sight of the big picture?

God is ever behind the scenes of our routine doing what God does, work His good pleasure.

All of a sudden you notice that many of the pieces you have been working on come together.  Your eyes are then opened to see what the picture looks like
and you get one of those wow moments!
It is humbling to know that God has chosen you to work with him to bless others!
It is in the mystery of our daily routine that the purposes of God are discovered.

I thank God for those moments of convergence.
May God bless us all with patience mixed with joy as we abide faithful to the call He has placed upon each of us. We are called to this place in time to fulfill God's good pleasure.

Do you ever blow it?

Do you ever blow it?

Today was one of those days when it seemed like I have taken 3 steps forward in Faith only to fall 4 steps backward.

You know that you should have responded better than you did. You know that you have blown an opportunity to let Christ within you shine.  Then the guilt the horrible guilt.  This is an indication that I had set an expectation on myself. Which is a set up to fail.
When you find yourself being poured out in your field of ministry and you forget to refuel, we in ministry become just as vulnerable as any one else.
When you become a servant in the Kingdom of God you become a target for the enemy.
The scripture tells us in Isaiah 14:13 that the enemy sits at the mount of the congregation.
Mount indicates leaders. True servants are leaders and we are a target.  We need to remind ourself that no matter what we are doing we cannot do it without the help and grace of God!
It is in Him that we live and move and have our being.
Thank you Jesus for your forgiveness and for your amazing grace.
Where there is much given there is much required. So cleanse me oh God and wash over me.
I need a brand new anointing to sweep over me. Give me oil in my lamp keep me burning.
Father come and fill me once again.
All of these wonderful familiar songs washing over me sets me free from any guilty stain because of His forgiveness, correction, mercy and Grace.

So if you have blown it too remember to access the grace that comes from the cross.  We simply must humble our heart and be quick to repent.  The Lord is present to forgive

What keeps us going?

What Keeps Us Going?

To minister in any field or capacity will require patience and perserverence.
But it is the joy in serving that gives us the edge to keep going.
The scripture says that we WILL reap IF
we don't faint.
So the key is not to grow weary in well doing.
Some of the things that we spend time and energy doing may be good things but are they really GOD  things?
There are some things I find that I have to lay down and then come back to them at another time.
As well as joy we must also prioritize our goals in order to be able to keep going.
Lastly God's Amazing Grace will empower us to keep going.
I ask for Grace to be multiplied to work in me and through me.
There is redeeming grace:
There is saving grace :
There is serving grace:
There is  overcoming grace:
So it is Grace, Grace and more Grace that will keep us going!

No matter where you are called by God to serve I pray that God's grace will be multiplied in you and through you!

I pray that our life will be a Drink Offering
as we persevere to be faithful to that which we are called by God to do!

Ordered Steps:

Ordered Steps:

The scripture tells us that the steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord.

Ministry outside of the church walls will require a sensitivity to the Holy Spirit in settings or in an environment outside of the setting of organized religion.

Most days proceed as usual or we find ourselves doing things that we may not even feel as being spiritual.  Then there are those times when an opportunity is presented that wows you!  Holy Spirit uses your mouth to release the Knowledge and Wisdom of God to another!
God has strategically positioned you to be in the Right place at the Right time and all of a sudden God is glorified.
The greatest compliment that we can be given from other people is when they say things to us that they did not understand was the character of Christ. What an honor as a Christian for others to get us mixed up with Jesus as we witness.
To God be all the glory as we give Him all the praise!

A prayer for us:

Dear Lord,
Give us divine appointments and place us in the proximity of someone who is looking for Truth that would set them free from discouragement and despair.
Grant us your wisdom to share your Truth in Love and may the Holy Spirit draw them to your throne of Grace. May souls be translated into the glorious kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Through your wisdom may we be soul winners where ever we may be at through the day. Help us oh Lord to identify the divine moments through the day that you have ordered for us.
In Jesus Name Amen!

Collaboration: The Ministry of the Body of Christ

The scripture tells us that the Body of Christ is connected with joints and bands.
Every joint has been given a responsibility TO supply nourishment to one another.
God's Word says that we are individual members of one Body.
I live in a rural state that many pride themselves of not needing anyone. This promotes isolation. It is true that we as Christians all have the same commission but we also have individual assignments to fulfill the great commission.
Ministry outside of the church walls does not mean that you are not connected to the Body of Christ even though it FEELS like you are. Thank God we are not governed by our Feelings but rather by the Word of God. The Great Commission is principled by the Church the Body of Christ ministering or serving outside of the walls of the church not in them.
This is the only way that the Kingdom of God advances and expands in the earth.
It is my prayer that we honor each person's assigned role or ministry so that Grace can be multiplied to us in our generation as we serve. The scripture says thst we are co-laborers together. So
may we leverage the resources we have been given through our individual gifts and talents and collaborate together so that we can rejoice in the fruit of our labor.

Light: In The Darkness

Have you ever wandered why our light is not as obvious in our fields of labor as we think they should be.

The scripture says in John 1:5 that the darkness doesn't comprehend the light.

It's like it is there all the time but it can't figure out just what it is.

I think that is why it is important to pay attention to those we encounter those of whom God positions us in proximity of.
I believe that as we represent Christ and His interests and His interests are people, We must build relationships in the field we are assigned to.

Scripture tells us that King Agrippa speaking to Paul said " almost you have persuaded me to be a Christian.
This indicates that Paul had been spending some time with him in trying to convince him.
So I encourage those who are lights in the darkness just to keep on letting it shine.
Even though you feel like no one in your field notices or understands. God has some there that the Holy Spirit will draw to Himself because of your witness there.

Pushing Through Tradition

Pushing Through Tradition :

When I look at the ministry of Jesus
I see a ministry that seems to be completely void of tradition.
We know that He did some things like attending the synagogue as a custom.

So I would say that  we often interchange custom as tradition.

Jesus was a Teacher a Rabbi but not in the traditional sense.  Instead of teaching  the popular doctrine of the day He taught the principals of The Kingdom of God.  God's rules or laws that govern His Kingdom .
Tradition will lock you in to a particular protocol that govern particular doctrine

Those of us who are called to minister outside of the church walls push through tradition while yet maintaining custom.

We minister outside of the box being conventional.  But so did John the Baptist and Jesus.  The religious leaders of that day simply could not figure out their methods or approach.
While organized religion does what it does, meet together, fellowship together,
worship together an overwhelming majority does not know what field in the world they are assigned to.
If one is not careful they can become institutionalized within the walls and in essence are hiding their candle in the safe environment known as the church they are a part of.

What do you think??

Going to Church or Being the Church

If you are like me you have probably wondered why inside the walls of the church there are so many functions and activities. Some people are even made to feel condemned if they can't be involved with everything.
Time with family has to be squeezed in and to have friends outside of the walls are frowned upon.
I do realize that those who are babe's must be protected from the evil-one until they are discipled enough to go out into their assigned territory in the world.
But it is in the world that our lights shine! Not inside the walls. I believe that is why there is little conversion growth and more transfer growth in the church in America.
Those of us who have transitioned in ministry outside the church walls have had to confront religion and remain focused on advancing  and expanding the Kingdom of God.
I believe that we are currently called to permeate the atmosphere in our assigned mountain with God's Righteousness and Peace so that the Power of the Holy Spirit can release the anointing of the evangelist in that territory!
I too believe that if we show up and abide faithful to what we are called to do, God will Show Out With His power to transform lives!!

I welcome comments

Uniquely Placed: To solve problems

Greetings from Montana!

Ministering outside of the church walls is one of solving problems.
Isaiah 2:2-3 Reads:
And it shall come to pass in the last days that the Mountain of the Lord's House
shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow into it
And Many people shall go and say, let us go up to the Mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; And He will teach us of His Ways, and we will walk in His paths; ...........
As we understand that the Mountain of the Lord's House is symbolic language for the Kingdom of God and that it is Jesus Christ our Lord who governs this Kingdom,  we then can understand these verses more clearly.
These other mountains are Areas in every nation that influence the culture.

Those of you who like me are ministering outside of the church walls often wonder
What on earth am I doing here? You can see my first blog Why am I here?
But as God's plan and purposes unfold I am seeing more clearly now.
I have identified that what ever mountain or area of culture we are called by God to serve in, there is a purpose for us being there!
People are looking for answers or solutions to solve the problems of the challenges that they face in each specific area or field we are sent to
We as God's servants are sent ones into specific areas to bless, inspire, and convey Kingdom Principles which contain God's Wisdom to resolve problems.
God's desire is for his Kingdom to influence decisions and policy.  I have come to the understanding that this is conveyed covertly.
We must be skilled in the Word of Righteousness so that the supernatural wisdom of God flows naturally through us.
So we are uniquely Placed to solve problems. Not every one will listen or heed but the scripture in Isaiah says that many will and that many will seek out those who are sent by God in order to access the instructions for solutions that only God can give.
We are where we are at to create paths for generations to follow.
We really aren't on rabbit trails ministering outside of the church walls rather I think that we are creating wagon trails!

I welcome comments.
Please let me know where you are and what you are challenged with.

Occupy : What does that mean?

Hello,
Greetings from Montana,
Those that read my last blog and are moving out of their comfort zones can perhaps relate to my blog.
I would encourage you to look for Lance Wallnau  teaching on YouTube about the 7 mountains that influence culture.
His teaching helps to identify where you are and why. His key text is in Isaiah 2:
The 7 mountains are described as Religion, Family, Education, Business, Media, Arts and Entertainment and Government.
Moving from one mountain to another has its challenges. You are trying to occupy in unfamiliar territory. I guess that's all part of being a sent one. If you are like me you feel inadequate for the task but God's Grace keeps you on point.
I had no idea 2 years ago that I would be doing the things that I am doing today.
Occupying  outside of your normal takes courage. I even felt an identity shift. Does anyone else feel the same?
It is my hope that we can strengthen our net by communication so that we can be the soul winners that we all so desire to be.
God Bless
Sandra

Why am I here?

This is my first blog so I will give a brief summary of why I began this blog.
For the first time in my life I find myself outside the church walls in ministry. What I mean by that is like Joseph who was separated from his brothers I am disconnected and separated from the structure of religion in ministry.
My husband and I served in ministry and were senior pastors of a healthy growing church.
But we were told to go our separate ways when we refused to be conformed to the cookie cutter mold that organized religion wants to bind you to.
I had already been serving in a field outside of the church walls but remained attached to the religious structure that I was so accustomed to. But now I am serving in a field that I would have never thought possible.
I am determined to abide faithful to the assignment but there has been a lot of pain in the process. Is there anyone out there who are ministering outside of the church walls that has had to contend with the pain of the process? I miss what was but cannot return to it.
In some of the next future posts I will briefly expound on the revelation that Lance Wallnau has given to the Body of Christ on the 7 mountains that mold culture. I thank God for this revelation because I do understand what God is doing and why but perhaps there are others who are also ministering outside of the church walls who have transitioned from religious mountain to the where???? in ministry.
God bless all who read and understand!
